Atelier Morihiko
Another cafe review.
Atelier Morihiko is the second brach of Cafe Morihiko. It’s located in a more central part of town and has a slightly different vibe from the original shop.
More chic/modern to the cozy/rustic atmosphere of the Maruyama shop, but not necessarily a bad thing.
It still does retain the little whimsical touches that make cafes in Japan (Hokkaido?) so great.

The menu is the same as the original shop, offering expensive, but well decent hand-dripped coffee using cloth filters. They offer nine blends plus some seasonal blends, most of them are raosted dark and brewed strong.
The desserts are just as good as the coffee, and just as pricy.
One cool thing is about Atelier Morihiko is that they do espresso, and with a manual piston espresso machine. I’ll have to try it next time.
All in all, a very fine coffee shop, although I prefer the main shop for its location and (even more) laid-back vibes.
